TERRAPER TDS

It is a multi-purpose fire insulation plaster based on cement, providing thermal, sound, and fire insulation thanks to the porous structure of the natural lightweight aggregates in its mixture.

REFERENCE STANDARDS:
* TS EN 998-1 / TS EN 13501-1
* CE
* F60

ADVANTAGES:
* Provides thermal, acoustic, and fire insulation with a single product.
* Being inorganic-based, it does not contain chemicals harmful to human health or the environment.
* Acts as a fire barrier.
* Increases the value of buildings.
* Has a capillary active structure.
* Its porous structure provides acoustic insulation.
* Its lightweight structure does not impose additional load on the building.
* High water vapor permeability allows surfaces to breathe.
* Fiber-reinforced structure offers durability against external conditions and protects the building for many years.
* High resistance to water and frost.
* Has a natural and decorative appearance. Easy to apply.
* Prevents moisture and mold formation.

APPLICATION AREAS:
Applied as thermal, sound, and fire insulation plaster on surfaces such as brick, aerated concrete, pumice blocks, and concrete on both exterior and interior facades of buildings. Provides fire protection for steel structures. For all other application surfaces, please contact us.

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Dust, oil, paint, and dirt on the application surface must be removed. The surface must be solid and clean. Loose parts should be cleaned by mechanical means until a solid base is reached. In old buildings, the surface must be roughened using a scoring method and then primed with Betonite Primer Exto and/or a 6 mm notched trowel should be used to apply a ceramic adhesive in horizontal strokes. In new buildings, absorbent, slippery, or concrete surfaces must be primed with Betonite Primer BBA. Mineral surfaces should always be moistened before application. Do not apply in extremely hot or windy weather. On steel structures, apply using a trowel or spray method.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS:
Ambient temperature must be between +5°C and +30°C. Avoid application under direct sunlight in very humid and/or hot weather. Do not apply on frozen surfaces, melting surfaces, or surfaces that may freeze within 24 hours.

APPLICATION:
A 16 kg bag of TERRAPER Thermal, Sound, and Fire Insulation Plaster should be gradually added into approximately 13–14 liters of clean water. Mix the plaster using a low-speed hand mixer for 3–4 minutes until a homogeneous consistency is achieved. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes, then remix. Apply the mixture with a steel trowel or plaster pump between guide strips at a maximum thickness of 3–4 cm and level the surface. Once the material has partially set, remove the guides and fill the gaps with the same plaster.
* Never add water or new material to a mixture that has already started drying.
* The first coat thickness should not exceed 3–4 cm. For thicker applications, a plaster mesh is recommended.
* In hot or windy conditions, the application surface must be moistened.
* Wait at least 2 days before applying any subsequent layer or finishing material over the plaster.

Steel trowel, plaster trowel, float, plaster pump, screed, guide strips
