Stone, Rock-Look, Ultra-Light, Ecological Decorative Mineral Coating

DESCRIPTION:
Mineral-based, specially formulated, ultra-light decorative coating with natural stone appearance for interior and exterior facade surfaces.

FEATURES:
Thanks to its special structure, it is very lightweight and does not add significant load to the building despite allowing large textures. Using appropriate techniques with steel and decorative trowels, various natural stone and rock textures can be created on the surface. It contains no organic solvents, making it extra environmentally friendly. It has high water vapor permeability, allowing buildings to breathe. It is durable against external factors due to special additives. It has capillary properties and water vapor diffusion features. Easy to prepare and apply. Provides a natural and decorative look with a seamless appearance on the applied surface. It is safe for human health and environmentally friendly. Its basic nature prevents mold and mildew formation. Non-combustible (A1).

Different color options can be provided upon request, or it can be painted in any desired color suitable for interior or exterior surfaces using BETONITE Topcoat Paints.

APPLICATION AREAS:
Suitable for mineral surfaces of interior and exterior spaces where stone and rock effects are desired. Preferred for stores, shopping centers, showrooms, offices, restaurants, cafes, hotels, and residences to achieve decorative appearances.

APPLICATION METHOD:

Surface Preparation:
Remove dust, loose layers, dirt, oil, and similar contaminants. Surface must be clean, smooth, and solid.

For outdoor panels (e.g., Boardex), prime surfaces with PERLIGHT Transition Primer; 24 hours after priming, apply flexible joint tape on panel seams.

For loose, blistered, or cracked surfaces, fill cracks and repair with cement-based BETONITE MORTAR TECH – F (fine) or BETONITE MORTAR TECH – T (thick).

Apply BETONITE GRASTONE UNIFLEX ADH, a flexible tile adhesive, evenly on the surface using a notched steel trowel. Wait 24 hours before product application. Surface must be moistened before application and saturated with water in hot or windy weather.

Application:
Mix 15 kg BETONITE STONE PERLIGHT with approximately 12–13 liters of clean water using a low-speed mixer until homogeneous. Let mortar rest for 10 minutes and remix.

Apply BETONITE STONE PERLIGHT with a stainless steel trowel according to the desired stone or rock texture. Patterning must be done while the mortar is wet.

After drying, optionally apply a topcoat paint matching the stone texture and color. Select suitable products and use the PERLIGHT Coloring System to tint and paint the surface. For exterior surfaces, use BETONITE Exterior Topcoat Paints; for interiors, use PERLIGHT Interior Topcoat Paints or PERLIGHT Acrylic-Based Decorative Paints. Use decorative tools suitable for the pattern to apply color and texture.

If painted, apply two coats of undiluted BETONITE PROCOAT Clear Protective Coating 24 hours after painting; if left unpainted, apply after mineral surface drying.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • Strictly follow recommended water ratios and resting times.

  • Avoid application under direct sunlight.

  • Do not mix hardened material into fresh mortar.

  • Do not apply below +5°C or above +35°C.

  • Avoid application on surfaces at risk of freezing within 24 hours, especially in very humid or hot conditions.
